Compassionate, Whole-Body Women’s Health Care in Colorado
I work with women throughout every stage of life, from puberty to menopause. Many women get blown off or are told that their symptoms — whether postpartum or perimenopausal — are just their new normal. Or they are offered pharmaceutical interventions like birth control pills or medications for mood before any investigation is done to evaluate the root cause. And while medication can be a great fit for some, it can also cover up underlying health concerns like nutrient deficiencies or hormonal imbalances. Through deep listening, proper lab testing, and over 20 years of clinical experience, I am able to personalize treatment plans that help you feel better.
Why Women’s Health Requires a Different Approach
Women’s bodies are beautifully complex — and their health care should reflect that. Naturopathic medicine honors the connection between body, mind, and lifestyle, offering care that listens, adapts, and heals. I take time to understand your story, respect your choices, and create a plan that fits your unique needs.

I learned so much and was able to address most of my issues through lifestyle and diet changes, along with some supplements. I appreciate Dr.C's holistic approach; she is thorough, patient, so knowledgeable and helpful. How I Work with WomeN
It all starts with listening. Once I gather all the details I need, I make sure there is time to answer your questions. Then we make a plan to move forward. This can include in-depth lab testing and focused trials of treatment, as well as ongoing support as we move through the healing process. Communication is very important to me. I always want my patients to understand our plan and know what comes next. This process is creative, collaborative and informed by a deep knowledge of naturopathic medicine and many years of clinical experience. I have a deep commitment to figuring out how to help women feel better.
1. Listen deeply to understand your story
2. Identify root causes through comprehensive testing
3. CREATE A PERSONALIZED PLAN USING DIFFERENT NATUROPATHIC STRATEGIES
4. SUPPORT YOU WITH ONGOING CARE AND EDUCATION
what your visits include
Thoughtful care. Personal attention. A clear path forward.
Your first appointment is a 90-minute, in-depth consultation designed to understand what is happening in your body and why. This is unhurried, collaborative care — created for women who want more than surface-level answers and are ready for a truly individualized approach. This visit gives us the time and space to look at your whole picture and begin shaping a plan that reflects both clinical insight and your real life.
Your return naturopathic visits are focused on evaluating your progress, refining your care plan, and continuing the deeper work of understanding and addressing root causes.
What Your first Visit Includes:
-
We take time to explore your current concerns and the context behind them — medical history, nutrition, sleep, stress, digestion, hormones, family history, and lifestyle. This extended format ensures you feel fully heard and supported.
-
If you’ve had labs, imaging, or previous evaluations, I carefully review them to identify patterns, clarify past findings, and integrate what you’ve already done into your care.
-
Together, we build a timeline of your symptoms and health experiences to better understand what may be contributing to your current concerns. This approach allows us to move beyond symptom management and address underlying systems.
-
By the end of your visit, you’ll leave with clear, actionable guidance, including:
likely contributors to your symptoms
recommended lab testing or further evaluation (if needed)
initial nutrition, lifestyle, and supplement strategies
a plan for ongoing care and follow-up
What Your follow up Visits Include:
-
We discuss how you’ve been responding to treatments, any changes in symptoms, and any new concerns that have come up since your last appointment.
-
If you’ve completed lab work or imaging, we review those results together and integrate the findings into your ongoing plan. If further testing is appropriate, we discuss options and determine the next steps.
-
Your nutrition, lifestyle, supplement, and therapeutic recommendations are updated based on your progress and any new insights.
-
We keep working through the layers of your health story, identifying underlying drivers and fine-tuning your plan as we go.
Dr. Caitlin O'Connor is worth every penny.
“Dr. Caitlin is the most knowledgeable and educated doctor I have ever seen. I started going to her at 31, after nearly ten years of trying to figure out what was wrong with me. She immediately made me feel at ease and quickly got to the root of my health issues. I have PCOS and Hashimoto’s, which made getting pregnant extremely difficult. After working with her to heal my system, I was able to conceive and have a healthy pregnancy. It took a lot of work on my end, but she guided me through every step.
Even though I’ve since moved away from Denver, I still email her from time to time for her insight. I’m 41 now and able to manage my health because of the education and support she gave me. She is worth every penny.”
